Angie Parker and granddaughter Avery, plus Herold, Dave, and Lucky chill on the porch. Thanks to the Parker Family for another fun and relaxing Memorial Day weekend at Greers Ferry Lake!
Katherine and Jeff show off their breakfast masterpiece.
Greers Ferry Lake is super high. We had to rig up a system just to get people to the Parker’s dock.
At Zoo Brew.
Sippin’, tastin’, enjoyin’ the many beers on serve at the Memphis Zoo’s Zoo Brew.
These clouds were directly above my house this evening.
Watching the Cubs on TV at Bosco’s, while John is in Chicago, at the game, beerless. So I sent him this photo.
New flowers are starting to appear. The late night upgrades at work continue this week.
This tree is in front of our house. MLGW and its tree service has been massacring this tree for years, but they aren’t allowed to chop it down.
On our front yard at sunset on a Sunday evening.
A lovely afternoon in Overton Park.
Another day of upgrades…
The wires behind the curtain.
I’m glad everything is so green now.

This is the Mississippi River, in the northern section of Shelby County. The river is usually more than a mile down the road. The water smelled overwhelming of diesel, with a thick sheen covering the movements of tadpoles, soon to lose their tails.
While the water is now going down around Memphis, many of the areas near streams are still underwater. Some of the areas blocked by water are pretty random. This is on Whitney near New Allen.
Flowers about to escape their protective skin in our garden.
Fisher Garden is taking shape for Saturday’s graduation at Rhodes College.
Matt is about to chop the ribs. Thanks to John for the tickets!
